Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu (1,350 m)
Arrive in Nepal, transfer to hotel and trip briefing.
Day 2
Drive to Pokhara
6–7 hour drive to Pokhara, evening by Phewa Lake.
Day 3
Trek to Ghandruk (1,940 m)
Taxi to Nayapul, 3–4 hr trek to the Gurung village of Ghandruk.
Day 4
Trek to Chhomrong (2,170 m)
Ridge trek through pine, oak and rhododendron forests.
Day 5
Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2,950 m)
Descend to Chomrong Khola, climb through bamboo forests up the gorge.
Day 6
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)
Past Hinko Cave, Deurali and MBC into the Annapurna Sanctuary.
Day 7
Sunrise at ABC → Bamboo (2,345 m)
Sunrise on Annapurna I, Machapuchare and Himchuli, then descend the valley to Bamboo.
Day 8
Jhinu Danda → Pokhara
Trail along the Modi Khola to Birethanti and drive to Pokhara.
Day 9
Pokhara → Kathmandu
Explore Pokhara, then 6–7 hr drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 10
Departure
Transfer to Kathmandu airport for onward flights.

How tough is ABC?+
Non-technical but high-altitude — expect 5–7 hours of trekking daily with steady ascents. Average fitness with prior hiking experience is recommended.
Altitude concerns?+
Max altitude is 4,130 m. We trek gradually with built-in acclimatisation. Diamox is optional; consult your doctor.
Payment terms?+
60% in advance to confirm. Remaining 40% at least 30 days before the trip.
