Itinerary

  1. Day 1

Bophut Beach → Ang Thong Islands — Introduction to Sailboat Life

Arrive at Koh Samui and report at Bophut Beach at 10AM for embarkation. Meet the crew and start with boat familiarisation, safety briefing and boat checks. Get introduced to the basics of sailing and sailing lifestyle. Sail from Bophut Beach to Ang Thong Islands, preparing lunch together as a team and learning basic sailing terminology along the way. Take the dinghy ashore at Koh Sam Sao Island for a short, rugged trek to a peaceful viewpoint overlooking the sea. Evening ice-breaker sessions and beach games before heading back to the boat for dinner and an overnight stay at anchorage.

  2. Day 2

Ang Thong → Koh Tao — Navigation, Steering & Scuba Diving

Sail from Koh Sam Sao to Koh Tao. Learn to steer the boat individually and how to read and use a chart. Start the day with breakfast onboard, then take the dinghy to Shark Bay to snorkel and swim right off the beach. Those opting for diving can sign up at Sairee Beach — the spectacular sites at Chumphon and Southwest Pinnacle (4.7-star rated) have dense marine life and anemone gardens. Enjoy a sunset at the beach and relax — we always go with the flow and may end up doing more. Dinner is served onboard, or you can opt to eat at a beach shack (at your own expense). Overnight at anchorage.

  3. Day 3

Koh Tao → Koh Phangan — Hoist Sails, Bouldering & Cycling

Start early — wake up and head straight for bouldering to reach the John-Suwan viewpoint for a breathtaking sunrise. Back to the boat and sail to Koh Phangan, learning about sails, points of sail and how to hoist them along the way. On arrival, take the dinghy ashore and rent bicycles or e-bikes from Sri Thanu beach to explore and hop between beaches in the west and central parts of the island. Evening snorkelling, back to the boat for sunset. Dinner onboard, or opt for a beach shack (at your own expense). Overnight at anchorage.

  4. Day 4

Koh Phangan → Bophut Beach — Back to Base & Sailing Basics Recap

Begin the day with an early morning swim to catch the sunrise. Enjoy breakfast onboard before sailing back to our base at Bophut Beach. Recap the sailing basics covered through the trip with the skipper. Don't forget to snap a final selfie and grab a fun video with the crew, celebrating all the memorable moments shared together. Disembark by 12 PM.

FAQs

Do I need to know how to swim? What fitness level is required?+

No! Our trips are beginner-friendly and non-swimmers are welcome to join. We ensure that life jackets are worn whenever required. A basic level of fitness is all you need — these trips are designed for almost anyone who loves the sea and wants to experience life on a sailboat.

What about seasickness while sailing?+

Catamarans are among the most stable and luxurious sailing options available. With favourable weather conditions expected, seasickness is not a major concern. Most people adapt quickly to the motion in good weather, and we carry anti-seasickness tablets onboard if needed — though it's quite rare for anyone to feel unwell on our excursions.

What are the safety measures and emergency procedures onboard?+

Safety is our top priority. Each trip begins with a comprehensive safety briefing covering life jackets, onboard movement, emergency protocols and yacht safety equipment. Our certified skipper and crew are well-trained to handle emergencies and adapt to changing weather conditions.

How are the cabin arrangements and sharing options?+

Cabins are generally shared between two participants of the same gender. Couples may choose to stay together. Private cabins may be available on select trips at an additional cost, subject to availability.

How many hours do we sail each day?+

Sailing duration varies with the itinerary and weather, typically 3 to 6 hours per day. There's plenty of time for swimming, island exploration and relaxation. We plan the pace according to the group's vibe — we never miss out on the fun.

How much cash should I bring?+

Carry enough local currency for personal expenses such as meals onshore, marine park fees (300–600 THB), souvenirs, tips, bike rentals (200–400 THB), activities like rock climbing (1,500–1,800 THB), scuba diving (2,900–3,500 THB) and small purchases. Some islands only accept cash, but cards and ATM withdrawals are available on the commercial islands.

What happens if there are weather changes or sailing restrictions?+

Safety is our top priority. If weather, sea state or local regulations affect the planned itinerary, the skipper may modify the route, schedule or destinations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The cruising grounds are generally well protected with sheltered anchorages, and the skipper's decision regarding safety and itinerary adjustments is always final.

How many participants are there in each group?+

Our trips are designed to be small and personal — typically 5–8 participants per yacht — for a more intimate, social and enjoyable sailing experience.
