Day 01 :

Arrival – Airport / Bus Terminal to Hotel

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport or the bus terminal, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The day is free for rest and final trek preparations.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 :

Machame Gate → Machame Camp

After breakfast, drive 30–40 minutes to Machame Gate. Begin your hike through dense rainforest, ascending steadily to Machame Camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Altitude: 1,800 m → 3,000 m | Trek: 5–6 hours.

Day 03 :

Machame Camp → Shira Camp

After breakfast with a packed lunch, ascend to Shira Camp.The forest soon gives way to open moorland. On clear days, enjoy views of Mount Meru, Kibo Peak, and the plains below.
Dinner and overnight at Shira Camp.
Altitude: 3,000 m → 3,840 m | Trek: 3–4 hours

Day 04 :

Shira Camp → Barranco Camp

Cross the Shira Plateau toward Kibo, passing the Lava Tower (Shark’s Tooth) for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This is a key acclimatization day despite finishing at a similar altitude. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 05 :

Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp

Climb the famous Barranco Wall, then traverse beneath Kibo’s glaciers to Karanga Valley Camp. Arrive in time for a hot lunch, rest, and acclimatization. Dinner and overnight at

Day 06 :

Karanga Camp → Barafu Camp

Continue to Barafu Camp, completing the scenic Southern Circuit with sweeping

Day 07 :

Summit Day → Barafu Camp → Uhuru peak → Mweka camp

An early start for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After reaching the summit, descend all the way to Mweka Camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Altitude: 4,600 m→ 5,895 m→ 3,100 m Trek: 7-8 hours up / 5-7 hours down

Day 08 :

Mwaka camp → Moshi

Descend through rainforest to Mweka Park Gate, where a vehicle will transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi, marking the end of the expedition.
